Festival Secretariat
The dedicated front desk at De Pier suites entrance will assist pre-registered attendees and will provide festival passes to the purchased activities. Registrations are done exclusively on-line and prior to the Festival dates, as it is more practical for guests and the festival volunteers.

There are several hotels in the Scheveningen area, but it is a touristic area and prices can be high during spring and summer. You may think about staying in the city.

Getting to Scheveningen
It is a short drive from The Hague to Scheveningen. It takes about one hour to reach Scheveningen from Schiphol Airport by rental car or public transport. Travel time by car or public transport from Rotterdam The Hague airport is about 30 minutes.
Distances within Holland are easily bridged. Any location you might want to visit can be reached within three hours. The train, bus and tram will take you pretty much anywhere you want to go. You can also explore the Netherlands by bicycle (over 32,000 kilometers of bicycle paths) – a real cycling country.
If you decide to use public transport, you can use any contactless cards allowing you to travel in the entire country by public transport (train, bus, metro and tram). Alternatively, you can also acquire an OVchipkaart and top it up.
Parking
There is almost no free parking in Scheveningen, even during weekends and bank holidays.
If you use Apcoa Strand/Beach parking garage (formerly BKS Strand) with entrance in Zwolsestraat 428 - 2587 VK - The Hague the price will be € 17.50 for 24 hours. To get this price you need make the payment at De Pier suites lobby and get your parking card stamped.
What to do beside the festival?
There are several attractions and museums to visit (Mauritshuis, the Parliament, Escher Museum, Voorlinden Museum, Madurodam, etc.). Scheveningen is well-known for its iconic pier, long boulevard, countless beach pavilions, and endless beaches. That is why Scheveningen is one of the most popular seaside towns in the Netherlands. Daredevils can bungee jump and zipline here. If you prefer to take things easy, board the 42-meter Ferris wheel and enjoy the view of the Dutch coast.
Go for a walk along the boulevard and find a table at one of the pleasant restaurants or beach clubs.
After your day on the beach, take a gamble at Holland Casino or enjoy a great musical at AFAS Circustheater.
Walking along the boulevard, you will also find the Kurhaus hotel and spa, right next to the pier. You can also to visit the SEA LIFE centre, which has over one hundred fish species.
